    Name this Snake?

    What does everyone think this is? Kinda triangle head?
    Maybe a Florida Gartner

    The photo does not look like the garter snake in the video. Pattern looks different. Where did you see the snake at? In SC or in Florida?

    Its from Florida.. Apparently its a garter.. They come in many different colors, and can flatten their body to look a little more intimidating. And in this video, he explains they are venomous, who knew..

    Nah, Garters aren't venomous. It's got the round eyes. They do, however in some species, have a mild neurotoxin in their saliva that causes paralysis, making small prey easier to swallow.

    We used to catch Garters and Rubber Boas as kids... they become pretty tame quickly. King snakes not so much LOL.
