Nice to know the real story after 15 years. And it wasn't the MSM that brought it to us. Good read and agree, too bad he took his own life.

That actually is a point that most people will disagree with, . . . until of course, someone pushes that button.

Most "get over" the situation, . . . some don't, . . . one of my heroines is the mom who calmly watched the proceedings against the man who molested her son, . . . toward the end of the trial she slipped into the courtroom with a .44 Bulldog, . . . put 5 rounds at him, I think hit him 4 times, . . . he bled out, . . .

As I recall, the judge apologized for sending her away for 4 years.

Her hot button got pushed, . . . Momma bear can be awesome when poked, . . .

    May God bless,

    Excellent story!

Back around 2000 I lived in a small town outside of Atlanta, GA. Mrs S and I just purchased at the time, the house of our dreams. Within months it became a (irritating) nightmare. The town had cut small holes in drainage ditches that bordered a road at the rear of our property. They also had installed Pipe in the holes to divert storm water and unfortunately it flowed right over our Septic Drainfields. We never knew they existed, as it did not show up on any Engineering study or disclosure forms. The water only flowed during massive rains an d we moved in during a drought but eventually we got massive rains as is often the case in GA.

Our Septic Drainfield failed and we went to City Hall. It took us multiple visits and phone calls as they continued to give us the runaround. We paid for an Engineering Study that backed our case and presented it to the City Mayor and Staff. They ignored us.

We finally attended a City Hall Meeting and as my turn to address the City Council came up, I brushed aside the podium and shoved copies of the Engineering Study to each City Council person. The Police Chief immediately came to intercept me and I turned to him in such a way that he took a step back. 20 years ago I was obviously a younger man and at 6'4" and at the time around 225 I may have been intimidating to some...

...But the long arm of the law has dealt with men much bigger and badder than I and within seconds 2 more officers showed up and escorted me out of the meeting...my case was subsequently voted on and only 1 City Council person voted in my favor, the rest of the socialists voted that the city was within its rights to dump water on my land.

I had to move my Septic System at a cost of around $5000 and luckily my builder had heard about the situation and stepped up and paid for landscaping to return my land to normal. He admitted that he knew about the city installing drain pipes but didn't think it would cause any problems. He was a good guy and I believed him. And I was done fighting city hall.

Bottom line, I didn't reach my "Nuke Button Moment"...sure I was out some money, but City Hall won. WE moved a short while later and eventually ended up on our Beloved Grounds at Slippy Lodge...

I am much older, wiser have access to more money and am much more heavily "PREPARED" today than I was 20 years ago. Plus I really don't care anymore...

...Phuque with me at Slippy Lodge and prepare to get NUKED. This, I shit you not.
