Very seriously, . . . a little gasoline, . . . mixed with a bit of diesel and blue Dawn dishwashing liquid.

Let the plants get up to where there are a half dozen leaves, . . . use a spray device that will soak it, . . . get em wet in a bright sunny day: dead will be the result.

    May God bless,
    Dwight

I'd do a multi-step approach. Nothing you buy at Lowes or WalMart is going to do the trick (unless they sell the product I'm recommending!). The best you can do commercially (without a license) is 41% glyphosate that's sold as KillzAll from Fertilome. Mix up the concentrate double strength with water. (So like 6 Tbsp/gal, I think). Give it a good application after the dew burns off on a day that's going to be maximally sunny.

Next day, come back out and lay out the thickest black plastic sheeting you can find. (Looking on Amazon and I'm only seeing 4- and 6 mil but I thought there was some a bit thicker??) Use rocks or 2x4's or whatever you have to seal the edges all the way around so no light gets under the sheeting at all. If it's do-able, lay the sheeting beyond the 30' patch, just in case.

It takes less than a day for the glyphosate to be taken up. By laying out the sheeting you're doing two things. 1) No light = no photosynthesis and the roots will eventually "starve." 2) It's going to get really hot under there! The heat will also kill a lot of the roots.

Don't be tempted to pick up the sheeting for at least a few weeks!

Anything that blocks light 100% will substitute for the sheeting (paneling, dry-wall) and will eventually do the trick, I think, but the advantage of the sheeting is the heat.

    Good luck!

Great point Sir. Those cute nannie goats will eat anything. By the way somebody needs to tell Uncle Slippy Kudzu is good to eat for humans too. Him and the goats can both enjoy it and maybe bond a bit. They say dont eat any which lived over getting squirted with Round Up. That is a nasty old chemical compound.

Use of a product like path way , clear path ect but drill the root where it is exposed and fill the holes.
New life as a house husband, major shift in duties.

After reading this Obama said I am on it.
