    Scotland votes NO on independence

    As a proud member of Clan Keith and Clan MacIntyre - I am sad to say my fellow Scots have voted NO on separating from the UK...

    Then be proud to be American. We did tell them to go packing. They were not so happy about it as I recall.

    Independence is a heady issue. Reports seem to indicate that the form of government would remain socialist no matter what the outcome. People were worried as what it would do to things like interest on their homes. Close vote. The stationing of British nukes and naval forces were also concerns.

    I'm afraid that people don't like change and they voted for the "status quo", I'm just wandering what happens now to 45% 1.5 million Scots who voted yes, will they "kick off"? will we see social unrest??

    How cool my great grandparents were Scots, I'm a member of clan Keith too!

    Those who were all for separation were not Tea Party types. They were generally wanting socialism than they were getting from the U.K. Problem with that is, the U.K. finances their dependence.

    No, many Canadian Scots voted, a friend voted NO. Depends on your status.
