    Need recommendations for Website host

Time to put my efforts where my mouth is.

    First step: website.
Needs to be hosted somewhere that Google/FB cant touch it.
Dont need a whole lot of space, just a place for articles, links, comments.
Wont need to handle massive traffic - there wont be anything for sale.
Nor does it need to be a "free" one...
I'll cover reasonable costs; there will be no sponsors, ads or tracking.

    ALL RECOMMENDATIONS WELCOME
    Thanks in advance

Our site is on HostDango. I chose it because it is conservative-friendly.
Oh. PAy the extra 5 dollars for ID protection. Otherwise, you'll get a lot of calls from Pakistanis wanting to help build your site.

Give Midphase.com a look. Had them for many years. Many packages. Their basic is on the cheap.

Depending on what your website is about, I'd read GoDaddy's TOS. They are not right wing / conservative friendly.

Thanks, guys, for the input. I found one to use for now - and so far all is well.

I might be in the market for a fairly simple website in the near future and would like to get your input via PM later on if you don't mind.

I'm using HostDango for the site; Concrete5 to build the pages.

Did you have to have a lot of experience to build the site?
