Anytime I see the "turn your sound on" I ignore it. It's usually 25 minutes of scare tactics and promises to fix a problem, before hitting you with the sales pitch. They're all over the interwebs.

Its funny I have an idea I want to sell, put it out there, and its for preppers. I'm not ready yet. I wrote up the text for a web site, gave it to a developer (web designer) who told me to take the price off the home page, don't give the buyers all that detail up front, and make them read through 7 pages of material before they can find out what they are getting and how much it costs. I was bummed. My wife says - with regret - he's probably right but I fired him anyway and am looking for another.
This place has become more disturbing then SHTF.

They take a real problem associate it with something thats not even remotely effected by it reel you into believing it is and sell you the solution just in time to make you the smart one.

Preppers buy things to have a solution to a problem they are searching for.

That's pretty much my whole theme at my site, if its not usable today, not something you can use as a hobby or as a business, don't buy it. EVER

Its great to have a house full of stuff, but if none of it is something you can use all you doing is hoarding crap.

If you are selling tho.......preppers are great customers
