I'm ready but it's 65 degrees today so it's hard to get in that frame of mind. Normally we would have had snow by now.

Being an old auto body guy I know the shop owners love this warm weather. It lulls the sheep into a false sense of security. The first snow will fill the back lots with wrecked cars and bald tires. Many with southern plates. Seen it happen for almost 20 years.

I remember winters from my Chicago and Denver days. I don't miss that weather at all.

I for one love winter= no more bugs!
don't like mosquitoes, tics, gnats, no see-ums, or fly's.
also crime goes down -plus who doesn't like to sled ride down a hill or have bonfire roasting marshmallows and hot coco by the lake while the kids are ice skating with a gentile snow coming down?

make sure you fill up your windshield washer and check/replace your wiper blades.
dress in layers when outside so you can take some off when active and put back on when not.
and don't forget some skin lotion keep hydrated too.

A small camp shovel or other digging tool wouldn't go amiss either. It'll either help get you dug out or if you do get stuck to help keep your exhaust pipe clear. Even if you only run the car for 10 minutes an hour to keep a little warm the CO from your tail pipe can build up if it's not kept clear.

A Watchman is calling BS on this one. Us experienced drinkers know you drink water with your bourbon, 4 glasses of bourbon to every shot of water ...... for hydration purposes only.
