Where to learn how to give an IV

I was interested in learning how to give an IV. Does anyone have any resources on where one could learn about such a thing? Also- any good sources for procuring the IV materials?

My department buys all of it's tacmed supplies from this place. I see they also have IV stuff. I don't recall ever having to prove what career I was in to get supplies.

You can get the supplies easy enough. Knowing how to use them is another matter. My first aid supplies are good. My knowledge is lacking. I depended on my wife for that. Going to have to make adjustments. Although, I am never going to be skilled at anything medical. Just have to be more knowledgeable,

Sorry I can't really help you with your questions...…..but when you do learn how to do it, will you then teach the rest of the medical profession?? Cause they really suck at it

In EMT class we practiced on each other. I can IV a human, a horse, or a cow. LOTS of experience with cows and horses. If you have large livestock, you could ask your vet to show you how. Mostly it’s getting over the squeamishness and just poking that needle, lol. You get good with practice.
