    Migranes.

My wife gets migranes with pixelation, and vertigo. Pretty darn debilitating. She works 7 days week as a Realtor and has always been an over achiever.
She has low BP, 90/60, no wax in ears.
She is petite, 95lbs 4'11'', and Corpsman and Nurses have always had very hard time getting blood for blood work.
Any new medical discoverys as of late for migranes?
Doctors have run so many damn tests on her... Nothing ever substantial.

I wish I could help. My wife's best friend has migraines constantly. They got so bad she was invited to "headache camp" which was begun by The Mayo Clinic. The cutting edge treatments never worked for her, either.

Even injecting Lidocaine directly into her sinuses did not work.

Lots of differ causes and lots of different things can help. Sometimes nothing. Caffeine, Fioricet, cats paw which is a natural substance from South America. Many others too numberous to mention. It is a lot of trial and error.

I used to suffer from cluster headaches, similar to migraines. I got lucky and fell into the smaller percentage of people the Drs could actually help.
I went round after round with my Dr and got nowhere as he just wanted to keep trying one medication after another and I landed in the ER every few days getting dumped full of Dilaudid.
I had to get loud with that SOB to get him to refer me to the Swedish pain and headache clinic, 3 days later the neurosurgeon had a course of action and I've been rid of the headaches for about 15 years now.
If you haven't taken her to a headache specialist, make an appointment to see one.

Had a few pals over the years who suffered with that ailment. Prayers for your wife to get some relief.

Have you tried the dentist yet? People with trouble in their bites or teeth position can suffer some pretty bad headaches. Sometimes the teeth look nice and straight, but they can find the problem by taking some x-rays. It is worth checking out.

Imatrex works for awhile. But now looks like Botox is my wife's next step. I wish you both the best of luck.

Swedish medical is a top tier facility here.
It's just a bunch of specialists dedicated to treating various types of chronic pain and headaches.
My neurosurgeon was one of the headache specialists, after the exam she had her suspicions as to what was wrong. She had me take one pill at my next headache to plan the next course of action based off the result, then had me in for an MRI the next day which verified her suspicions, then it was off to the sinus surgeon and the rest, as they say, is history.

I remember what my mom went thru with her migraines, sometimes they would last for days, where as mine only lasted a few hours to a day, but much more severe.
I'm in the the Seattle metro area which is roughly 2 million people, I'm guessing you probably don't have someplace like this in Goose Creek.

What I'm saying is find someone that specializes in migraines.

My wife did have the sinus surgery done where they go through near the eye.. Her sinus cavity was not draining.
