Red handled one is on the rack right now.
They are beautiful, such an elegant weapon.

Do ya now? I've wanted a good recurved bow for a long time. I was fairly good shot when I was younger.

Ok, here's mine, I call it Frankenstove, we (co-workers and I) built it last spring, I've posted it before but felt this might be a good place to repost it.
Whats so cool about a woodburning stove? glad you asked. This baby is 31 inches diameter of 3/8 stainless steel, the top, bottom, legs and about everything else is also SS. Barring a direct nuclear strike this thing should be around a long time. I decided to build it vertical so I could cook on the flat top. Being SS it's super easy to clean and can cook directly on the surface. the stove pipe comes from side as not to remove from the cooking surface.
Ok, I did a little photo-enhancing for effect.

    New Department-tardis.jpg

This is the Tardis I have mentioned. This was built from all free materials we obtained from different sources. The tubing and pumps were also free. The only thing we had to buy was the drippers that provide the water to the fodder we grow for the animals.

The system is working great for us, we are going to be adding more trays. I am waiting to see if I can find some for free. Between the fodder and spent grains we have been able to cut our commercial food purchases by 2/3.

I've not reached the quality, nor confidence level, to sell them.
I've given two away as gifts, and to my knowledge, they are both still functional.
One for my buddy, and one for a young nephew.

I'd feel much better just sharing the knowledge than trying to sell them.

Do you really make longbows? They are about 6 to 7 feet, tip to tip. That's where they get the push to penetrate plate armor.
