Is that a Webber Smokey Joe on the bottom?

    Nope, a skilet.

    How you make the smoke/heat?

Too far for me to get one, but thanks

I set mine up for briquettes or a smoke tube or propane burner off a 20 lbs tank. I mostly use the smoke tube and briquettes in the cast pan If I need a hot smoke.

Hawg, that is an awesome setup!

Sadly, I am approx 750 miles away from the Mitten!

I have a couple of those cabinets, I store guns in them.

They were made for communication equipment, built for 19 inch rack panels.

They will do the job, I still have one with a 500 watt x-mitter, powers supply, receiver and antenna tuner in it on the HF bands.

Those are well built unlike the junk today.

Those look like old TELCO central office units.

These were crammed with tech gear on top of hospitals roofs. Stainless cabinets heavy duty most door seals still good and heat resistant.

Get rid of briquettes, I use apple, pear, peach, maple, black cherry or hickory. Orchard and woods supply all I need.

But damm, Hawgrider that bacon looks good!!!

The little lady and I were just talking about making a smoker. Too far for me to pick up but I might look around my area for one.

First you have to give up. First you have to know, not fear, know that someday you're going to die.

No you misunderstand.... the few briquettes are for lighting chunks and chips or to add some heat on a cold smoke to keep the smoke moving on a cold winter day(heat rises) not for smoking.

I smoke with the real deal. generally cherry, apple, oak, maple , alder and hickory. I don't care for mesquite too often but sometimes I will if Im in the mood.
