Last time the bill did not necessarily "die" it just got stuck in the subcommittee alongside the AWB 2015, a good sacrifice.
It was the 3rd most view Congressional bill, and for those that do not know it will make Suppressors a Title I firearm...no more stamps, long wait or signatures - just a NICS check
A bunch of liberal rags are picking up the story trying to scare people - when this passes there will be all manners of assassins running around allegedly out to kill you.
I think this has a solid chance of passing and I hope SBR/SBS/AOW are right behind them.

Once the HPA bill is passed as a law, suppressors will become illegal in Pennsylvania. How ironic... Apparently in PA silencers have to be registered. Once it is removed from the NFA status, the ATF will no longer register them thus making them illegal to own in PA. The law makers in my state needs to hurry up and change the law so suppressors can be owned legally.
Y'all just don't know how badly I want a suppressed SBR, but I don't want to play the government games to get one. Now, I'm not getting my hopes up, but....
