Originally from the Liberal Republic of New York City, was in the military for 5 and a 1/2 years in which I was a communications specialist attached to SOF, SMU and conventional forces and Task Force units and deployed to various armpits in support of counter-narcotic/counter-terror and contingency/training missions with our partner nations across the globe.
I dabbled in military contracting and hated it now I work for one of the largest private IT consulting firms in the US, I believe mastering the cyber domain and staying safe online is just as important and staying safe in person
I served with great men and women but am no means an 'operator' - the best thing you can do for yourself as a person is realize you are in control, identify your limits and work on them.
Prepping isn't so much a paranoia thing as a lifestyle, the average person will get waylaid by a flat tire or a snow storm if they cant get their lattes, always have a plan, always stay sharp, and remember the priorities of work - chow comes last.
In my spare time I write software programs, design websites, work on my cars/trucks, spend time with my family, play lacrosse, reload, build/break guns, go shoot, work out/run and am always striving to learn.
