    Happy Spring

My favorite season of the year. I truly love how nature comes alive in MN and brown becomes green. No better time in my opinion.
By the way, DQ is giving away free vanilla cones to celebrate spring if you happen to be around one.

I drugged myself silly, last night, in an attempt to kick the crud that seems to be eternal, and you tell me it's now the season to be season?

    Great.

Dairy Queens in mall locations are excluded from the free small cone TODAY.
And ..... how about that pollen this year? It's a real doodsy, huh?

Only mere mortals are affected by pollen. Guinea pigs have my number....

I added the mall disclaimer to the Dairy Queen promo as I read about it yesterday.

The funny things is .... A DQ in a mall? Not in Texas!

Just put the sump pump in for the water in the basement. Time to get the shovel out and clear the 6 months worth of land mines in the yard after the rest of the snow melts. Don't have to park on the road as the driveway is starting to firm up. Road kill is thawing out, nice little surprise when driving with windows rolled down or riding the bike.

My favorite all the farmers can finally get out and spread this winters worth of manure on the fields. Which will sit for a couple weeks until plowing starts. Check wind direction before opening those house windows. Yep, I just love spring.

This one is a close second for my favorite. Neighbors kid can get his new X-mas four wheeler out finally. Round and round that 2.5 acre yard, or farm in their city folk mind. Daylight to dark, Sat and Sunday, 10 hours a day. Hasn't it got boring yet?? Welcome to the fricken neighborhood dip$shit and happy spring.

@RedLion I can imagine living in Minnesota you would really appreciate the spring. We do here in Ohio. Our winter has been fairly mild this year but the gray skies day after day get really old.

Grand children have no school this week. Two of them here with me both 8 years old. Tomorrow the ATV get fired up for some rides around the farm. We may get the side car out latter in the day. The chickens are sure happy.
